Are you tired of being limited in your food delivery choices?
The Travelling Waiter was created to solve this problem! We offer multiple cuisines for you to choose from and are in the process of continually adding more restaurants to our service. Be sure to let your favorite restaurants know how much you'd love to have their food delivered to you through The Travelling Waiter!
Ordering online is simple and fun!
The genius of our site is in its simplicity. Unlike most online ordering sites, our homepage gives you a list of all available restaurants as well as the running total of your order. You know everything about your order long before clicking the "checkout" button.
Your food will arrive hot and fresh!
At The Travelling Waiter we use the most advanced state-of-the-art thermal bags to make our deliveries. We want to be sure your food arrives at your doorstep in the same condition you would expect at your table in the restaurant. These are the same bags used by NASA and the White House to keep their food fresh! If it's good enough for them, we know you will be satisfied.
We Deliver to some areas outside of our delivery area for an extra delivery fee.
We deliver to up to 8 miles. An extra delivery charge will be reflected automatically in your total if you are outside of our base delivery area. Most of the delivery charge goes directly towards the driver's gas and does not take the place of a tip!

HOW OUR SERVICE WORKS

| | Placing an Order: | |
| | The Travelling Waiter offers you three convenient ways to place your delivery order:
1. Order online @www.travellingwaiter.com.
2. Place an advance order online. Please allow a 15 minute window for timed orders. Restaurant preparation times vary from night to night. We will do our best to get your food to you as near to your preffered time as possible!
3. Place your order by telephone at (704)664-6325(MEAL).
4. Fax your order to (704)664-6326 (Please include all delivery and payment information as well as a contact telephone number). Please call after faxing your order to confirm it was received.
5. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. | |

| | The Delivery Process: | |

1. Your order is called in to the restaurant of your choice.
2. Your Travelling Waiter is dispatched to the restaurant.
3. Your Travelling Waiter arrives at the restaurant, carefully checks your order for accuracy, and places the food in an insulated carrying bag.
4. Your Travelling Waiter radios our dispatcher when enroute with the order. Should you have any questions as to the status of your order, please call us at (704)664-6325. (Our dispatchers closely track the progress of all deliveries in the event of unforeseen delays.)
5. Your Travelling Waiter arrives at your home or office, presents the food, and confirms the accuracy of the order with you. The entire process generally takes approx. 35-75 minutes, depending on type of cuisine, order size, your distance from the restaurant, traffic and weather conditions. Preparation times vary per restaurant. Delivery times are not guaranteed, however, we will call you if an order has been delayed for any reason. Please allow additional time for larger orders. Orders cannot be canceled once placed.

1 . The Travelling Waiter accepts cash, company checks, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
2. Delivery is only $2.99-6.99 depending on where you live. Credit card orders subject to a small 3% fee. A $1.00 processing fee added to phone orders only.
3. To set up a House Account with The Travelling Waiter, give us a call at (704)664-6325. We will fax an application to you. Fax it back to us at (704)664-6326 and a representative will call you to confirm your application. Please call if you have any questions.
4. Gratuities for our drivers are greatly appreciated (15% is customary). Please keep in mind that our Travelling Waiters use their own vehicles for transportation, and take great care to ensure that your order is hot, on time, and accurate. An automatic 15% is added to orders $100 and up.

We begin processing telephone orders 1/2 hour before we start delivering for your convenience. To ensure timely delivery of large orders, please place them at least 24 hours ahead. Orders can be placed up to 5 days in advance.
